If you are studying Spanish or you enjoy visiting Spain you should find some helpful information on this site. The learning materials section recommends books and other materials to help you learn and practice Spanish.
If you would like to practice grammar or vocabulary or simply play some Spanish games there are links to selected websites as well as useful sites for choosing accommodation or getting inspiration for where to go on holiday.
In the tourism section I have described places where I have been on holiday lately, and added links so that you can see and be inspired to explore some of Spain’s amazing cities, towns and unspoiled countryside. There are also some useful phrases to help you get by.

Learning tip of the month!
Now is the real ‘new year’ when people settle down to some serious study, either independently or in a class. Make some new resolutions about being organised, breaking down what you want to achieve into small chunks, setting targets and persevering. Even if you give up temporarily – start again as soon as you can. Try doing some study every day – but that doesn’t mean you always have to get out the books! Looking at the headlines on www.elpais.com , going to see a Spanish film, reading the lyrics to a song in Spanish – the ways you can practice the language are endless and if it’s fun, you remember it better!
